We were learning about Science and the force of the water. We did lots of experiments. We had an experiment about Force by pushing against each other, to see who was the strongest. We dissolved jaffas in glasses of water and in our mouths. We tested the surface tension of water by trying to float needles.
For our last experiment, we went to the beach to build strong constructions. We were trying to see if the constructions were stronger than the force of the water. When we went back to the beach, the next day, most constructions had got washed away. Two constructions above high water were still there. We decided that the water at the beach was stronger than the sand, sticks, seaweed and shells. But not stronger than some of the big rocks because they stayed in the same place.
