Yummy Honey Crunch

 The "Letter of the Week" was "H". One of our activities was to make Honey Crunch. We wrote a class story about our baking.

 We went into the Staffroom kitchen. We got a bowl. We put the honey, and sugar, and butter in the bowl. We mixed it up. We put the bowl in the microwave. The ingredients melted all together. Then we added in the cornflakes. We mixed it all in together. We choose the colour of the wrapper that we wanted. We put the Honey Crunch into the wrapper.  We brought them into the classroom. We had to wait a wee while. Like three minutes. We ate them! They were yummy! They were crunchy! They were sweet and honery and sticky! (honery is a new word)
