Edie and Mia wrote stories about our Big Ice Ball. Their goal was to start with a big idea and then to add lots more information. They have written great stories to achieve their goal.
Mia wrote:
Day One:
We got a balloon. We put it on the tap. Then we put it in the freezer. It is frozen now. We are going to check it at morning tea.
Day Two:
We put food colouring on it. The food colouring made it pink. We put salt on it too The salt made a big hole in it.
Edie wrote:
We made an ice ball. It got bigger and bigger. We put it in the freezer. The next day the ice ball froze. We put food colouring on it. The ice ball turned pink.
