Pancakes and Syrup

"S" was the Letter of the Week.
Syrup starts with "s", so we decided to make pancakes and syrup.

First we had to shake the flour in the bottle.

Then we had to put some water in the bottle with the flour.
We all shook the bottle to mix the mixture, passing it around the circle.
We put butter into the pan.
Then we poured some mixture into the hot pan.
The pancakes were round.

We knew the pancakes were cooked because we could see them bubbling.

We had to flip them over.

They had to cook on the other side.
They turned brown.

We put them onto a paper towel.
We squirted maple syrup on the pancakes.

Then we ate them.
They were delicious.

"Yummy scrummy in my tummy",  said Harry.

"MMMMmmmm!!  We had big and small ones. We wanted some more", said Mia.
