The Room 2 children have been busy designing, making and modifying boats over the past 6 weeks. They have made cork raft, flax waka, tinfoil boats and many more exciting crafts.
Alius was proud of his cork raft with a paper sail.
Would Reef's cork raft float? He has added a couple of keels to make it balance.
Sasha's cork raft looks like it will bob around nicely. Will it capsize? We hope not!
To show off their brilliant design and ideas, they took part in the Junior Syndicate Boat Regatta.
There was a lot of paddling pools lined up outside on the concrete and we split into groups to show off our great work.
How many bears can Henry keep afloat? Obviously quite a few!
Jake's tinfoil boat is waiting for some crew!
Mishca has managed to carry quite a few passengers in his tinfoil boat.
Riley was the tinfoil boat champion! His boat managed to hold 100 bears! Wow what a boat builder extraordinaire. Maybe you will be designing for the America's Cup when you are older.
Casey and Frankie made boats out of all kinds of "junk". Will they float?
Alius, Mia D, Hanyl and Harry had a race across the paddling pool.
